Quick Take-Aways Review: Mother Before Wife by Melissa Brown

5 “The Evil Prophet” Stars! Wow, I couldn’t put this one down! Not really a romance, although the story does end in a cliffhanger, so perhaps the conclusion may. If you’re a lover of unusual, suspenseful plots, then I highly recommend this book. Also be prepared for a challenging view of how a mother’s role compares and battles with a wife’s. The unimaginable circumstances that the heroine is forced to face in this story will undoubtedly tug at your heart strings.

Also be prepared to encounter an unusual role reversal, where devotion and infatuation to a wife is actually potentially viewed as detrimental in this story of convent living and polygamy. This book presents such an unusual perspective that I found it fascinating reading. Additionally, the suspense elements of this read and the heroine’s bravery will have you sitting on the edge of your seat. But be forewarned, you will not receive any closure until the conclusion to this story is released which is not scheduled to happen until Spring of this year.

I, for one, can’t wait to read the conclusion in Just Keep Sweet!
